Ok, if new HeadUnit comes with a MUTE wire - but the old factory system did not have that feature - what do you do with the MUTE wire to make it mute the music/audio when a call comes in?

I don't think I've ever seen the mute wire used. I think it's for external blue tooth devices, and originally for car phones.
you dont need it if your using the pioneer bluetooth
