yea i just updated mine awhile ago, its basically more artists n tracks for wen u upload songs onto ur hard drive. i don't really notice a difference.

how do we get the update? did i miss something?

pioneer released in on their website, u got burn it on a cd then put it in the z1, it'll automatically update. then wen its done go to menu, then settings, then hardware, then service info, then check the version to be 06-01-0020.

Do you have the flash mod? if so, did anyof this update seem to cause problems with the bypass or no?

This update is just for the Gracenote Database and has no effect whatsoever on the flash mod or any other functions of the AVIC.
