i recently updated a z2, and finally after getting the update to complete, the unit says it needs to be rebooted. the only problem is, the ok button isnt highlighted so it wont reboot. i tried the reset button on the face, opening the hdd lid and simply turning the key off and back on. is there anything else i can do?????

I don't remember there being an OK button on the reboot, but... are you saying when you turn the key off, the unit stays on?

it was the pre date hack for z2 units to enable the 2 wire procedure. i got it from this site.

it powers down when the key is turned off. the problem is after the update completed, the screen said update complete. all updated info will be accessible after the reboot(or something to that nature). then at the bottom it has an "ok" button. but you cant press it. the screen stayed like that for about an hour

And what happens now that you've powered it down and turned it back on?
