I have a 2008 Pontiac Solstice with Onstar. When I use my turn by turn directions, they download to the stock radio. Will I be able to to do the same thing with the F-series unit?

Absolutely not, that's a proprietary system developed by GM, and it would never be cost effective for an aftermarket company to offer that level of integration.
