microphone connector stereo or mono? — AVIC411 Forum Archive

Hi Peoples,

I was going to re-use the mic i have for the Avic for my Parrot BT kit (cause i have 1 to many mics!).... does anyone remember if that mini connector is mono or stereo? (before i pull the unit out).

The Parrot mic is much better than Pioneers, so I would probably use their mic with their kit.

i long replaced the mic that comes with the Avic....tried several different ones, to see if i could 'improve' the crappy BT with the Avic..... finally gave up and been happily using the Parrot MK6000 for several months now... was hoping to re-use the mic that i installed for the Avic.... i never use the voice features of the Avic anyway.... But, a dead issue anyway, since the connector is mono!
