I loaded my address book from my V3 razr today and after all the complaints I heard, I was worried it would take forever with the one at a time transfer process.

What I did is hacked my menu in my v3 with motorola phone tools sowftware, arranged it so that if I had a contact on screen by simply hitting the menu button it would have the send feature as the first item on the list.

Long story short, I put my entire contact list in the z-1 in just short of 20 minutes. 163 contacts in all. I gotta say it wasn't all that bad.

If you don't mind me asking, what service provider are you using with that razor?

Whats BS, my loading of my address book? No reason to BS anyone here, it's not like it gives me a leg up on people, just letting everyone know how the process went down for me.

If you like I'll send you a video clip of the process. Gimme your cell number in a private message and I'll use my wifes phone to video clip the transfer of a address book entry from my phone to the avic in literally seconds. I'll then send you the clip from her phone and you'll understand and see exactly how it works for me.

JZ-

That's perfectly normal operation for sending contacts to the Z1. Once the phone is disconnected for voice use, you can send a contact by going to that contact on the phone and selecting menu and then "send contact via BT". You'll then select the Z1 as the object to send to and the transfer will take place. Once it's done it will reconnect for voice calls and you're all set.

This seems to be a really common question, so I'll write up a little tutorial on how it's done tonight.
