does anyone know if the usb or ipod addapters will work on an n1 i just want to be able to have direct control of my mp3s without a cd, i have the n1 software on it now but will upgrade if necessary. any help will be great. thanks

They both work, but not very well. They show up as an external device so you will have very limited control and text information

who sells the usb adaptor? i wonder if that will work for me. i want to try and put a carputer in my truck. the kid who is gonna help me asked if i had a usb port

Pioneer sells a USB Adapter. But your MP3 player must be considered a Mass Storage Device. I believe with a little help from Google you can make any MP3/iPod a Mass Storage Device.

I am getting a USB adapter this week.
