Has anybody tried playing music from a cell phone with stereo Bluetooth capability or from an iPod with a Bluetooth adapter?

According to the spec AVICS are Audio Streaming Profile (A2DP) capable. I want to avoid using wires, if I can. :?:

Phones work. Haven't tried an ipod. The ipod cable is nice anyway since it charges your ipod too

Actually I want to get a SonyEricsson cell phone and

use it as a music player, it is Stereo Bluetooth(aka A2DP, aka "Streaming Bluetooth") capable.

So, I was wondering how well it worked.

Does anybody use a cell phone or iPod(with Bluetooth adapter)

as music source for the AVIC?

How is it? :?:

Have you done a search on the site for topics about streaming audio via bluetooth? I can't imagine it hasn't been discussed yet. You might find some answers there.

Found it.

Searched under "Streaming & Bluetooth" and found a thread on BT Compatibility. Looks like it works really well.

Thx man

Phone Book Transfer: have not tried - will update

Voice Calling: Yes

Signal & Battery Strength Indicator: Didin't notice!

BT Audio Capable: YES! Pulled music right off the mem card in my phone. In fact this works good enough that I may not need my ipod. I just need a bigger mem card"
