I just bought a 4gig nano yesterday.....how do i know what gen it is ?.....and since i dont think it will do what i want, im going to sell it, but what do i need to look for to get what i need to play video.

ok so i have a 3rd gen, 4gig nano...... does this iPod have the ability to play video through my D3, if i use the highspeed cable? I called my local apple store and they do not have any 5gen classics available so i would have to go through ebay.....and im not having much luck with that either...... Ive read so much info on this forum about the subject, that i think ive confused myself....please help !!!!!

No, the new nano will not output video. Try the apple website for refurbs on the older ipod videos

Keep checking, they put new ones up all the time. Or ebay or other websites
