I find that kinda a slap in the face that there has not been a software update to allow the Bluetooth stack on the D3 to PULL contacts from the iPhone. I have had my D3 for several months, and the ONLY issue I have is the lack of support for the iPhone (not Bluetooth music).
I installed a new DEH-P7000BT into my Audi TT which seems to do eveything minus the NAV piece as the D3 for 1/3 the cost. Plus it allows me to download the phonebook into the headunit.
REALLY hoping the D3 makes this happen with a software update soon! Sorry for the rant, just sucks that my expensive headunit can't do what my less expensive headunit can do.
