I bought my Avic-D3 from Cartronixplus back in February for $548 ..... I sent in all the rebate paperwork just for the heck of it figuring it wouldn't go through ... well ... I got a $200 rebate check today!!!!!!!

not so fast....I just read the rebate form in its entirety and it says that the offer is not available in Best Buy nor Circuit City...first...WTF...second...has anybody bought it at BB or CC and got their check?
Got mine from BB and sent in the rebate stuff. Got a form letter back saying it wasn't from an authorized dealer.
So basically if you buy it from any 'big' guys, (CC, BB, Crutchfield), you're SOL.
fucked up part is that they are an authorized dealer according to the Pioneer website...
They did the rebate instantly instead of mail-in, thats why the rebate form says no BB, CC, or Crutchfield
I know the sale was sweet, but if you look on some of those "authorized" websites...and the damn thing is 500-600$ without the rebate...the only reason I went with BB is cuz i got a card at that place...and gettin it for 599 scored me a 18 month 0 APR financing option instead of spillin out 600$ at one time.
