i have a d3 and i have the d3 and hdd update disc and i cleaned the laser and still asks to insert correct disc

There is no such thing as an update disk for the D3. The only disk that works in it are the east disk and the west disk that came with it in from the factory. That is why it is telling you to insert the correct disk. Also, there is no "hdd" the only avic unit with a hard drive is the Z2.
