Hey guys I've tried everything to get the gex 10xmt to work with out the power cables supplied... What am I missing to power and grounds come from i ip-bus cables it says but even if i reset both units it still does not see the xm

I have to power cables hooked and it works but its says not to if ur going to used the data cable and ip-bus cable..just dont want to smoke my d1 or xm

You need to hook up the power, ground, p-bus, and data cable. If you read the instructions, it just tells you not to hook up both the red AND yellow power cables
