Hey i have a problem with my d1 and gex 10xmt

1st problem..I have to use he power cavles supplied with the gex to get it to work..where on the power cables says not to use if u have both the data cable and ip bus cable hooked up??? What am i missing there is no way in the options to turn this feature on..

2nd.. I have this odd noise almost like static and when listening to the xm (only xm has this noise) doesnt matter what the volume is at?

if i turn the rear speakers off it works fine...i have had noproblems with my D1 befor and poping speakers..could if be a defective gex 10?

well i have a fix for this issue i had a bad cable..just replaced it and everything was fine..
