It says im in LA, im in MAss, how do i fix this

Just give teh GPS a few minutes to locate the satelites. It will correct itself with a few minutes.

 

You can also go into the GPS menu and manually correct it.

 

Correcting the Current Location

Touch the screen to adjust the current position

and direction of the vehicle displayed on the map.

1 Touch [settings] in the navigation menu,

then touch [Modify Current Location].

2 Scroll to the position where you want to

set, then touch [OK].

3 Touch the arrow key on the screen to set

the direction, then touch [OK].

I kind of have a similar problem, but my Z1 one with Z3 image is on crack. I will be driving, and it will have my correct location, then all of a sudden I can be on the highway, and it will tell me to turn around, then it will keep giving me directions properly. Then sometimes I will be in my neighbor hood, it will have me at the right place, then will tell me to run down the wrong street and when im 3 blocks from my house will tell me I arrived at my destination.

 

My antenna is mounted outside my car on the roof, so its getting the best signal it can get.

 

Anybody have any thoughts or ideas? At this point its sort of a bummer, because if I go anywhere I need to print directions or bring a handheld GPS since I cant trust my Avic....
