Z2 and 90BT harnesses the same?

I'm considering upgrading my Z2 to a 90BT, and would like to know if by some miracle, I could use the same wiring harnesses that I have for my Z2. It would be great to be able to "plug-n-play" the new unit.

I've been away from the forums for many months, and somehow missed the release of the entire F-series. I really like the looks of these new units. If they have the quick iPod controls of the D3 and better voice command, I am very excited...

No. Different harness, GPS antenna, and RCA plug

Nope. It's different than all of the N, Z, and D models.

an idea where i can get the harness from? There are a few local stereo shops along with best buy and circuit city but no one is carrying the f series yet :( I ordered mine on eBay and got it in today

What? The F-series comes with a wiring harness. You need a wiring harness adapter for it to be able to plug in to your car's radio harness. That has nothing to do with the radio itself. Any place that sells car stereos should carry them. And if you already have an aftermarket radio in your car you probably already have one in there, you just need to cut it off the old radio's wiring harness and splice it on to the new one.

They are just asking if the harnesses are the same because if they were, they wouldn't have to do any cutting/splicing, it would just be a matter of unplugging one unit and plugging the other in.

sorry that was a stupid question I wasn't thinking.
