XM Graphics

After my unit has finally been fully installed and working (sadly the bypass isn't working on my July 06 unit), I have noticed that when in XM, the graphics are the generic kind and not specific for each channel as described.

Has anyone else encountered this and what are the known fixes for this?

I called them for a fix and the guy was an idiot and said that the XM reciever had the images on it if it was the one with nav traffic. I don't think he understood what I was asking. So I gave up. We could fix it if we could figure out how to load them on the HDD.

So basically he said that you need the XM Navtraffic + XM receiver just to get that function to work?

That seems rather stupid to me. Why not just put all the images for both systems on the unit?

Pioneer have some lazy ass people working for them.

I want to start a petition that anyone with a Z1 automatically get the choice to upgrade to a Z2 when they put them out.

For the stations I listen to, there is only one (Bigtracks) that is missing the stations image. I was told that only the NAV XM and the 920 XM can produce the images (then again, I believe these are the only two that work with the Z1). Why only those units I'm not sure.
I did read in one of their manuals (XM or NAV) that if the station is new and online after the unit was produced, the image will not be available, and Bigtracks is a new station for XM; coming online just a few months ago.

So we either need the Nav XM or the 920 module in order to get the full graphical interface as well as the extra lines of text (artist/song) in the xm mode, correct?
