I have had my D3 professionally installed. He said he did the ground and everything should work but it will not play dvd's when driving. He sent me here saying there is a download i need to burn to get the thing to work. On start up the player says the parking ground is not hooked up . Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Its not a download, he didn't do the by-pass properly.Do a search for by-pass or get someone who know how to do the by-pass.

1. Relocate the mute wire/pin to the empty slot below it on the wiring harness

2. Ground that mute wire

3. Ground the parking brake wire.

That's all you have to do. No downloading/updating/whatever.
