i got the ipod kit for my Z2. but the unit doesnt seem to recognize that the ipod is plugged in. the ipod icon, just doesnt light up at all. is there something special i need to do??

make sure you have a good ground and the yellow battery wire is hooked up properly or else it won't power.

so true I had the same problem for a week straight even went and purchase another CD-IB100II believing the first was defective.
