i have a iphone, which ipod connector should i buy w/ my D3 so i can play music on it, don't care much bout videos, just music. and how much should i be spending.

you also get the cable with the 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000 head units as well. i tested the iphone on my d3 and works great

See if you can find the D3X or D3Y, they come with the ipod cable as a package.
