Did you guys install the system your self or did you have it professionally installed? which would you recommend. im not a installer or anything but i can ussually figure things out pretty well. what would you recommend. \
ALso if i have the hack put in, what exactly will the hack bypass and allow for me and what damage will it do ?

I assume that by hack, you mean my circuit? :) Well, there are the following lockouts that I know of from memory:

No:
Address Search for nav,
POI Search,
Address Book access,
DVD movie while driving,
Voice command list (the voice commands still work, but with this, the screen displays the commands you are allowed to say)


If the bypass works for you ( http://www.sminntech.com/z1problem.html ), everything is available all the time. As for "damage", if you hook it up right, none. If you hook it (or the Z1) up wrong, could be lots of stuff damaged.
