Is there a way to totaly clear the backround pic of the z2 ??

the clock and the little thin strip with trackinfo and av info at the bottom.

the thin strip is covering up a great ass shot.

Also what about the splash screen?.....all that pioneer default stuff?

Can remove the bottom banner, but you can remove the pioneer splash screen stuff, if your drive is unlocked.

it looks like a pretty easy process to unlock hd's.....but is it worth it to buy the cable and software, or just buy one preconfugured???

If you decide you want preconfigured, just let me know. I have removed the pioneer copyright stuff from the boot screens on my drives.

reformat your picture. Increase the canvas size to add black (or another color to the bottom and shift your image up.
