AVIC Z1. Loading and playing purchased CDs fine. I tried to copy songs from my son's IPOD to disc. Nothing. DVD R would not work. CD R would not work. Does anyone know how to load burned songs to library?

First are you burning the cds as regular audio discs? If not that is the problem. The z1 will only record music from a regular audio disc. It will not record mp3s, wmas, etc.

I tunes is my 12 and 16 yo "toy". Dad had the set up wrong. Once I chaged to Audi CD - all is good. I thought that the verbiage in the owners mannual about copying music was applying.
