Anyone have screen shots of the F90BT in day and night mode? What does the F90 look like in Day mode and Night mode?

I installed my F90BT but nothing seems to happen when I turn on my headlights. I can't tell they difference between day mode and night mode.

FYI I connected it to the same illumination as I had on my Avic-N2.

You need to adjust the brightness settings for lights on and lights off individually or you will not see a difference.

Hmmm...How do I go about doing that?

Did you go to the link I provided?

Or did you download and look in the user's manual?

Adjust the screen brightness, TURN ON YOUR HEADLIGHTS, then adjust the screen brightness again.

I hooked up the illum wire to my light switch and the screen dims ok when I turn my lights on. However...

I have the day/night setting for the map display set to automatic but it shows the dark night mode map all the time, even when my lights are turned off. What am I missing here?

Do you have daytime running lights?

It normally does but they can be disabled (which I did) by pulling a fuse so the headlight switch on the dash works normal. The fact that the head unit display dims makes me believe the wire is hooked up correctly. I tapped into the wire that controls the headlight relay.
