I have the GMCO adapter from peripheral, and it has two orange wires. One is labelled 'illumination, dash lights' and the otheris orange/white and is labelled 'dimmer'. Will either of these work? I am going with the first choice to start with, as someone else on another forum posted a diagram saying the 2nd pin wasn't used, and they had the first pin spot as unused, with a ? mark.

I will be using ducati boy's flasher mod, my ebay unit is a June build!

Should be using the straight orange wire for your illumination. The orange/white may not cause the z1 to switch to night mode properly if the dimmer in the car isn't set just right.
