well with my D3 i'm just feeling left out in the cold...

I mean it says 2007, but i can't find streets that people have been living on for 6yrs now... should say 2002 maps not 2007

so i'm really trying to decide on upgrading my system since Pioneer isn't updating my current one

my thought is stuck between the Z3 (and will likely hindge on how old those maps are that are loaded) and the Kenwood 8120

can anyone let me know how 'recent' the maps are on the z3 (or updated hard drive that the guys on this site are selling)?

The z3 maps are the teleatlas 2008 maps. They are newer than the D3, but still about a year old.

so they must be better then the D3 map's..

just always fustrated with the map saying 2007 and customers chuckling at my GPS not finding their address of 5+yrs old..

btw, i just sent ya an email too (garrettoomey)

The Z3 maps (2008) are pretty close to current.. My house was built in a new sub here in Utah County in late 2006 and it shows the correct location and street name.

The Z2 maps (2007) stopped just short of the new roads to the house (2 short streets away)

I15 had all the exits renum thru Utah state. They became like 3 numbers off from the current.. Z2 had the old numbers and Z3 is current.

Hope this helps
