Finally got my AVIC-Z1 installed yesterday. Everything went really well. The shop installed my flasher unit. I got a June 2006 unit. So, Ducatiboy's flasher worked perfectly. I drove around all last night doing whatever I wanted to the AVIC-Z1. No lockouts. The installer seemed shocked that it worked and now might want to buy a bunch more. Are you looking for distributors Ducatiboy? :D I let the guy know (after the fact) that that was why I wanted a unit that was made before July. He looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for an older unit, but thanks to this forum, I knew what I was talking about and asking for.
