Im desperate now ive been burning dvds and all of them as divx files and they still dont play 
Can anyone help?

DVD D3 Files?

I have only had my for a couple of days, but I noticed that most of my 'DIVX' files are actually 'XVID' files.. the AVIC D3 only will play DIVX files... I have The full DIVX program and used the DIVX converter.. there is a topic in the hack's section that gives step by step..

Actually, XVID, DIVX, and MPEG are all just different ways of encoding used in an AVI file. Your DIVX might actually be an XVID or MPEG and you don't know it. You can convert them as shown in the link ^he provided, or try this out and see if it works:
