I wanted to tint my windows (except windshield). Will the tint, which is metallic, affect navigation? Thanks.

Yes it will hamper the reception of the signal.

If you have the antenna on the dash, it shouldn't be an issue because you're not tinting the windshield.

Yes, tinted windows will affect the antenna reception. I have a sedan and orginally had the antenna placed on rear deck. I farted around with that for a couple hours one day until a smart neighbor came over and proved how dump i was. Ended up relocating antenna to dash.. Works great.

The antenna is on the dash and since I will not be getting my windshield tinted it (hopefully) won't affect the NAV. Thanks a lot guys.
