Can anyone comment on this picture to tell whether the detour button is alive?

I haven't quite figured out how it works, but my F700 has something called an "Avoid" screen. To reach it:

• [*:1teoezw1]Route a destination
  [*:1teoezw1]From the menu select "Destination"
  [*:1teoezw1]Click "Route Function" at the bottom
  [*:1teoezw1]On the next screen, select "Itinerary"
  [*:1teoezw1]Select one of the items on the itinerary (Did you know you can select them? I didn't!... )
  [*:1teoezw1]Select "Avoid" at the bottom right

You'll get the screen shown in my attachment below.

Nice, i never knew/noticed that either. Can you post the screen that has the "avoid" button? That is a lot of steps though.
