How do I get this out?

I had an AVIC Z2 professionally installed in my 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, and would now like to pull it back out so I can install an accessory. However, I'm not sure how to do that.

I tried to find a tool at Crutchfield.com as well as a local auto parts store, and both indicated that it's likely a special tool that only the install shop has (I had it installed by American Electronics). Personally, I'd rather not have to ask the place that installed it - I'm not sure that they would tell me and would probably pressure me to have them do the work.

Here's a picture of the install. Can anyone tell me how this can be removed? THANKS!

Remove the bezel (the silver part) that covers the center console and it should make a lot more sense.

On my F150 it was held in with some clips, just pull out gently but firmly.

Wow! That was embarrassingly simple.

I never noticed that the silver portion of the dash was separate from the rest of the dash. I removed two bolts, and then gently tugged on the panel and it was off - the Z2 just slid out after that.

Thanks!
