Hello, I'm a newbie. I just had a Pioneer Z1 unit installed on my car. I'm having a screen tilting problem. When I hit the eject button, the screen doesn't come all the way down. I have to keep pressing it for about 4 times before it comes all the way down. After loading the disc in, I hid the eject button on the screen for it to go back up, but it doesn't go all the way up, furthest is half way up. I have to manually push the screen up until it goes back in place. I've try resetting the entire unit, but problem not solve. Is it a mechanism problem? Has anyone ran into this same problem? Let me know, thanks!

I have run into similar problems. I sometimes have to hit the eject button many time to get it to open or close. Sometimes it opens most of the way (it looks open, but isn't) and have to hit the eject button for it to go all the way open. The cd won't go in or eject unless it is at the full open position. Haven't found a solution yet and maybe it needs to go back to Pioneer for a little work?
