Is there a link around to be able to download/burn a map disc update for the Z1. Or if anyone has bought it and wants to sell the disc. let me know. Please and Thanks in advance.

I see the disc on Pioneers website and the part number is,:

CNDV-700HD

That disc is will only upgrade you to a Z2, not a Z3. Those maps I believe are current as of April 2007 so you wouldnt get the latest and greatest. I also have a Z1 and am waiting for Pioneer to come out with the 2008 maps. You can purchase a pre loaded hard drive on here that will upgrade you to a z3 with the latest maps. I might do it since it is a bit cheaper than buying the upgrade discs through a pioneer reseller. From what I've read, its a matter of using a torx screw, and unscrewing the drive, pulling it out, inserting the new one, and you're good to go.

I have heard people have had success with this so it might be worth doing.

Get with graytoomey he can get you a drive and it works... will take ou to the Z3

I have a Z3 drive also, I want to update the Z1 drive maps only. I have alot of music that I cant get again on it. I bought a Z3 drive awhile ago.....

I just need link to download new maps without paying 250 anyone who can help its appreciated.

Ok is there link to update to the Z2 maps then. Its better than the Z1 maps.
