You honestly aren't going to need a screen protector for the D3 under normal use. Unless you have crazy razor blade fingernails or something. It's a pretty resilient screen. Just wipe it down with a cloth and a little water every now and then to get off the fingerprints and it will be fine.

I have friends and family that have taken such a screen and made it extremely bad, so i take no chances.

If im gonna spend that much money on a screen I might as well pop the extra 30 to buy a protector to keep smudges etc.. off of it.

I'm not so worried about the screen getting damaged as I am with the anti-glare feature. During the day I have an extreamly hard time seeing the screen due to glare. Can anyone verify that this will eliminate glare and make viewing easier?

What kind of cloth do you use? Like a little glasses cleaner cloth?

Yeah. Or some soft paper towels will work fine as well.
