Well, today I decided to not be lazy and install the d3 I have on a 2006 civic sedan(EX model). It has 6 speakers(it actually has 4 and 2 tweets).
I ran all the wires and did the bypass. Everything works except I have no sound at all.
I got the unit for 500 and the bluetooth + ipod + remote control + all the harnesses for my car and dash kit for 150 more(everything new, navi included). I tested everything and all my connections are perfect. Navigation works, ipod works, bluetooth works, radio works but I have no sound at all.
I have read that the factory amp have to be wired to the acc wire on the d3 plug. However, I have no factory amp wire. Which leads me to believe the factory stereo is hooked up directly to the speakers and no factory amp.
Any way to fix this issue?
