The satellite radio, bluetooth, and multiple cd buttons are all greyed out all the time. Doesn't matter if the parking brrake is on or not. How do I get them to highlite?

Do you have a satellite radio tuner, bluetooth module, or CD changer actually connected to the unit? You can't use what you don't have.

No I do not have any of these. Thats what I suspected but you'd think they would've covered that in the instruction manual. Or maybe I'm just a dumbass. Anyway, I want to hook up my phone with the bluetooth in the avic. Are you saying once I buy the bluetooth device for the phone and connect it to the phone, the avic will recognize it and the button will become available?

This is the bluetooth module for the D3. You have to put it up inside the dashboard or wherever you can hide it, hook up the power and ground wires, and plug the data cable into te back of the D3.
