Hi!

I upgraded my D3 with the new MT-80 maps, but it doesn't work.

The upgrade ran good, but after that no luck.

How can I downgrade my Avic D3 to use my old dvd's ?

I don't know what disk you stuck there, but there aren't any upgrade disks for the D3 yet.

You can go into the service menu and reset the firmware of the unit and use the original D3 disk.

1. RESET and EJECT buttons simultaneously.

2. Release RESET button only.

3. When “password entry screen†is displayed, release EJECT button.

4. Enter the password: 8 1 8 3 7 2 0 8

5. When the password has been entered, press ENTER key on the remote.

6. After about 3 seconds the menu screen will appear. From there I could Recalibrate my screen...Phew!!

This option is not working on the D3 ... when I release the RESET button, it says: PRESS RESET

Suggestions ?
