Hi,

I have a D3. In navigation mode under settings I hit the Mute Voice Navigation button and in the On or Off postiton the Lady still tells me where to go...why?

That doesn't turn off the voice. That's for whether or not you want the audio source muted when a voice command comes up. In the nav settings menu there is a volume tab where you can set the voice prompt on/off & volume.
