thanks on the phone chris!!!!!
yeah no problem but jetware only has a 30day trial so don't get too happy yet(you gotta buy it, sadly).
Anyhow, the pc6800(htc mogul?) is not fully compatible with the btb200. I don't know how the features are. But, you can do the following:
- Once you registered your phone, it will be connected automatically. Make sure you have a voice tag for each contact. If none of your contacts have a voice tag(they can be their full name (first and last) or just their first name)
- Hit the voice button on the screen of the d3 unit, and say "Call John Doe" and the avic will automatically call contact John Doe.
How to add voice tags to your contacts the easy way:
- Once your phone has been connected to the navi unit, press the voice button and check your phone. it will ask you to add voice tags. So, if I'm not mistaken, look at the bottom tabs on the screen of your phone and tap on the "contacts" tab. Then, it will ask you to select a contact. Tap on whichever contact you wish, and then tap onto the little button that has a phone and microphone on it.
That should do the trick.
Or
you can add voice tags by doing the following:
1)With the stylus, tap on the left upper corner of the screen of your phone where it says Start -> Programs -> Voice Speed Dial
2) After tapping on the voice speed dial, the screen will change to a blue screen asking for a voice command. With the stylus, tap on where it says "Settings"
3) Select the "contacts" tab that's on the bottom of the screen of your phone.
4) Select a contact and tap on the little square button that has a telephone and speaker icon.
5) Speak the first and last or a nickname of whichever contact you selected.
6) Restart the phone.
7) Check to make sure it works with the navi and viola!
