i mean its one thing after another with my D3. i have a REALLY bad whine off the 4 channel RCAs i have. im not sure if its the unit or my grounding point on my amp. ive never heard it this bad before and i had a POS jensen flipout before

Plug something with RCA outputs (like an ipod, zune, or portable CD/DVD player) into the RCA cables (On the D3 side of them) and see if the whine is still there. If it isn't, the D3 is causing the noise. If it is, either the RCA cables or amp/amp wiring is the cause.

Check your battery cables. The factory radio in our Jeep developed a bad alternator whine, which ended up being the ground terminal on the battery was corroded and loose. I figured it out when the odometer started flickering and the whine turned into a crackle.

RCA Grounding worked like a charm. i have the big 3 done in 0 guage and i have 2 runs of 0 guage for power to the back of my tahoe and a yellow top. i dont think power and grounding is the issue lol :P
