Looking to pick up a z3 in the next couple days. Wondering where everyone has been purchasing theirs.

i've only seen a z3 in circuit city. i'm sure you can also find them on ebay, and other places on the net. I bought my Z1 in circuit city back in 2006 and had them install it. They did a great job installing it. No wires showing at all - very clean!

You may consider looking for a good deal on a z1 or z2 and upgrading to a Z3 hard drive or doing the upgrade yourself with the files available on the forum. You may be able to save about 1/2 the price.

Try J&R. They seem to offer the best deal. Also consider they are an authorized dealer meaning you will get the factory warranty. Be carfull, many places such as Newegg will lie to your face saying they are an authrozed dealer but they actualy are not. If in doubt, check Pioneer's web site, they have a list of authorized dealers.

thanks guys,
after researching more i think i might get the kenwood dnx8120. seems like a better unit. I've always had pioneer head units though so i don't know if i want to try out kenwoods new one.

very good choice.. but make sure your good with XM. My understanding that Sirrus is not an option..

Yes, they did. Now XM+Sirius can become a fat & happy monopoly!
I got my Z2 for $560 shipped on eBay, after PayPal 10% off coupon. I upgraded it to a Z3 for $4.95. I'm very pleased with it for the price I paid.
Microsoft Live currently has a 20% off eBay BIN rebate if you use MS Live Search so someone could potentially get an even better price than I did if you can find someone to do BIN around $600-700.
