Now that the new firmware is out, has anyone received a delivery confirmation of their f90bt from al-eds.com? or maybe an ETA of approximate delivery date?
Its been so long since i purchased it form their web site, over a month! And i/we have been so patient. i cant take it anymore. But i guess we have no choice but to just sit and wait.
This came from Al-Eds:
Pioneer said "shipments will arrive mid-next week".
I just emailed Al-Eds and this was the response I got when I asked about the mid next week shipment date:
"We have not heard anything new, so I am not sure where the mid
next week date came from. Since the firmware fix is ready, I would
hope we will see units soon. all they need to do is start updating the
units they have in their warehouse.
They have not told us how may we are getting, but we have more
than enough on order to cover everyone. They may end up doing
small releases so they can start getting units out as they fix them. If
they do this, we will ship units out based on who ordered first.
I wish we could tell you more, but Pioneer is not saying anything.

This was on the Pioneer website concerning the update....near the bottom.. it pays to read the whole thing... forget about having it your hands for another week or so.
"With some exceptions, most all AVIC F-Series systems purchased after July 28, 2008, should already have the free firmware update installed."
So I'm guessing Pioneer will start shipping out units this friday or the comming monday.

Thats odd. I heard from 2 sources at Al-eds that next week is the expected arrival. They said it came directly from pioneer.
