Having a tough time with my new addons.

 

I have the vehicle connect kit and the CD-SB10 with a sirius sportster 4.

 

The sportster is supposedly plug and play, but now it is plug and pray.

 

The unit is tough to get on the dock, there were 2 tabs that needed to be shaved down. It does mount now but it is tight, like it is going in at the wrong angle.

 

I can shave the dock for a straighter fit, but dont want to get too deep.

 

any help is appreciated.

I had an extra sportster 4 in the garage and it seems to work, I transferred sub to the other unit and it does work.

 

The software seems to be the bleeding edge.

 

The 60 minute rewind doesnt seem to work and the menus are very basic.

 

I am a big fan of the rewind and would rather hook it up to the aux and use the handheld if that is the case.

 

Also getting the 100+ bucks wouldnt hurt either.

 

Hopefully it is just a glamorized beta version.
