If I buy a cd and play it , it only says, track 1 , track 2 , etc in the title field . But when I put in a burned cd it does show the title and artist information . Does anyone know why my unit can't read original cd's ?

Because it's a store bought audio CD, and a lot of them don't have CD text. And CD burning software will usually add that info if you're burning an audio CD from mp3's. And if it's just an mp3 CD that you burned, it's just displaying the file information.

Some do. Just very very few. I think the Godzilla Soundtrack was one of them..
