Originally my problem was that I was not seeing any 3D calibration. After reseting Speed Sense and Distance, I now have a new problem. Each time at start up, I now get the blue outlined screen where you can choose to either "Start Navigation" or "Shop Demo". I obviously selected Start Nav but I get this screen every time I start my vehicle. To coincide with this my sensor is learning, but it shows no Distance being traveled. The Speed Sense is good and my left and right turns are learning just no distance. I have had this unit for almost a year and no problems so far. I did the bypass at the time of install and have reset the unit a number of times to see if I can start fresh but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe there is an option in one of the settings that turn that on or off.... I think if you turn the unit off.... through the menu it's off but the car is still on.....

then press menu... you have a function button i believe that has that option in there....

I went through the initial settings menu and can not find any options that address my problem. It seems like a technical glitch more than anything. Like I mentioned, I have tried to reset the unit with no success. Can anyone tell me the proper way to completely reset the unit to new? I'm hoping this will allow me to set the unit up like I did out of the box (which worked just fine). I have used the reset button with the power on and off and I have disconnected power - are there any other options?

In Navi mode... press menu then settings tab.... Demo Mode is listed there.... set it to off.

But it does sound like a learning problem ... have you tried to reset the sensors and such again?

I have set the Demo mode to Off and reset the sensors numerous times. I am still getting the same Start Navigation screen each time I start the vehicle. I don't know what else to do other than a complete reset which I have been unable to accomplish. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I been having the same issue with a another D3 that I recently purchased. My other D3 doesn't do this but my new D3 does...
