Where can i download the 08 update disk for my d 3?

Do you mean update or upgrade? They are different. An update will be a firmware update and the upgrade will be the navigation discs. I am assuming you are talking about the upgrade because to my knowledge Pioneer has not said anything recently about a firmware update. They have however, talked about the upgrade disc which is a "map data update only" for your navigation. See for yourself:

This upgrade navigation data disc is said by Pioneer to be released in August. I personally don't give a shit about it unless they do an update firmware for the D3. I have not heard anything recently about a firmware update for the D3 from Pioneer. Hope this helps.

thanks but im looking for a good free torrent site to download it from

First, you probably would get more help if you posted in the D-Series Section, not the Z-series. FYI.

and if you would of read what guz took the time to reply to you with, you would know it has not been released yet.
