It seems like wheenver I hit GOOG-411, the unit dials some 425 #. It's Goog 411, but it seems like the wrong area code. Anyone else see anything like this?

Connected I assume to what phone?

How are you 'asking' it to dial?

I don't have mine yet but I'm sure with this info you're closer to getting an answer of some sort.

Sorry, the F90BT unit connected by bluetooth to my iPhone (first gen, 2.0 software) using the 'GOOG-411' icon in the Phone screen.

Mine dials a 425 number also, I live in Tacoma and were 253, but when I call my voicemail it dials a 425 number too.

425 is the eastside of Seattle.

Anyone have time to call Pioneer and ask whats up? I get the feeling that someone at the factory programmed in some wrong-#...

I had reported this to Pioneer some days ago, and today I actually got a call from them. They said the 425 number is not a mistake but is the number that google requested for the system. They explain that it is a collect number and there is no charge. So any one know what a collect number is????

a collect number mean u pay for the call i think...not a toll free number

Actually, a "collect" call means the person you are calling pays for it.

Am I the only one who has gotten the "You have a collect from drunk buddy at the such and such county jail. Will you accept the charges?" call at 3 am on a Tuesday night?

My unit tries to dial the 415 area code, and I'm in Toronto, Canada- does anyone know for sure if it is actually a collect call? The last thing I want is a bunch of long distance calls to the US on my bill...

Additionally, is there a way to edit the number GOOG-411 uses, such as theri 1-800 instead?

why not just make a contact with the goog 411 number and use taht instead?

I couldn't believe it, until I tried the service. It really works great! I think Justdial has given a completely different meaning to toll-free services.
