Without the GPS Antenna it probably doesn't any GPS reception.

Put the GPS antenna back and see what happens.

Have you tried resetting your unit?

How do you do this?

There will be a little recessed button somewhere on the face of your unit.

You need to press that with something small like a pencil or really small screwdriver.

Check your owners manual for the location of the reset button.

I reset the system and it is still doing the same thing.

Drive a little bit. After you reset it, it's not going to "update" it's self unless it detects motion.

did you check your antenna cable for kinks/knicks and of course, is it reattached? also on settings/hardware settings, you can see if your gps is receiving a signal
