A friend of mine is selling his D3 since he got a new car... I'm planning on trading him my gps plus $200.

However I've read a lot of things mixed emotions about it on this forum the past few days and i'm wondering how much of a difference the the new map release has made?

Sounds like a deal to me. I think every radio will have its positive and negative. I am looking for a D3 myself even though its been discontinued.
