Hey, I had a question. The head unit does actually work without the brain plugged in. I got everything wired and tried to test it, and no work. Help!!

The head unit will NOT WORK without the brain.

But amzingly enough there are a lot of people in this world that function without a brain. No offense to anyone here just dealt with a lot of dumb people today.

I apologize for the dumb question. I bought the unit used with no manual, and searching "install" here is a trip. Just as a suggestion, a more updated forum software and better search would yield good results. But thank you for answering! I really appreciate it

You can download all the manuals off of pioneers website. Wiring is really simple. The position of the brain is important for proper function. If you need any help just ask. I think I have about figured theis stuff out. :roll:
